To celebrate the launch of THE TUMMIE FRIENDS, different custom prints were also commissioned from eleven different artists from around the world includes LouLou, Tado, Charuca, Clementine (Bupla), , Juliana (Colorblok), Mark Verhagen, Sauerkids, Easy Hey (delkographik), Cecy Meade, Bubi Au Yeung and Zeptonn.

“Cakee-Woosh!!”
TADO – UK

TADO is Mike and Katie, two small, hungry people who live, work, sleep and play in Sheffield, England. From their tiny studio the pair concoct all manner of weird and wonderful creations and characters for clients and happy folk across the globe. They enjoy working across a huge range of projects, from advertising, illustration and fashion through to designer toys and various art shows.

“The Harvest”

Mark Verhaagen – Netherlands
Mark Verhaagen has been creating tree houses,sand castles, origami flower bouquets, food sculptures, Lego space ships and electronic blip-bleep music on his Atari computer… which has been since replaced by a shiny Apple machine some time ago. After high school Mark decided to focus on drawing, so he went to school to learn the proper art of illustration. Since his graduation in 2003, Mark has been freelancing in the field of illustration and animation. When not working on commissioned works, he likes to hone his skills by working on personal work.

Cecy Meade – Mexico
Cecy Meade was born in Mexico in the city of Monterrey but now resides in Saltillo. She is a freelance illustrator and enjoys creating characters and making up stories about them. She is inspired by many things but mostly by music.

Sauerkids - Netherlands
Sauerkids is Mark Moget and Taco Sipma, an artist duo based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Besides their current day jobs as graphic designers, they started the label Sauerkids on the side as an outlet for their non-client based work. Their character based art has been shown in several exhibitions and art projects (Gallery 1988 LA, MF Gallery NY, Munky King LA, Vallery Barcelona) and several magazines & books (Pictoplasma Encyclopaedia, Latex for Fun, Hi-Fructose magazine, IDN Magazine).

Zeptonn is Jan Willem Wennekes, also known as Stinger. After having studied both Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen, Zeptonn decided to take up illustrative design. Zeptonn’s working space is part of Studio Pats, a collective studio in the lovely town of Groningen, the Netherlands.

LouLou (LouLou & Tummie) - Netherlands
LouLou & Tummie are a Dutch illustration duo who spends their days building an ever expanding empire of colorful graphics and characters. Fueled  by their love of toys, happiness and all things cute they abuse their computers to spit out designs that can be found in magazines, books, advertisements, interiors, on the web, real life walls and even in the form of plush and toys around the galaxy.

Easy Hey (Delkographik) – France
Behind this pseudonym (whichpays tribute to a relatively successful rapper from the 80’s) stands a young man. He shows off his imagination by creating the wacky and weird, where, in his universe, God is a lumberjack, onions buy sneakers on eBay and trees grow rich from selling themselves. Amongst his many collaborations (Carhartt, Orange, Artoyz, Kidrobot…), this hyper-active 24 year old also has the time to be a founding member of Delkographik, a French design crew.

Bubi Au Yeung – Hong Kong
Bubi Au Yeung was born and grew up in Hong Kong. She now works as a freelance illustrator / designer. She is also the creator of Crazy Label’s Treeson - a kind creature brought up by the trees in the forest with a stem branching out from his heart.

Charuca.net is a design studio created in 2004 and based in Barcelona. Charuca works in characters design, toys design, illustration, etc. Charuca specializes in cute character design but also has an eye for fashion illustration.

Colorblok – Argentina
An illustrator & designer from Argentina, Colorblok is dedicated to the creation of stimulating visual experiences. Colorblok, a.k.a. Juliana Pedemonte,  oversees motion graphics projects, provides art direction and illustration work for clients such as TL5G, MTV, VH1, and Nickelodeon Latin America. She has also created a designer toy - MONO and is constantly involved in art shows, design conventions and projects all over the world.
